The BAUER 5.5 Series of Containment SCBA/SCUBA Fill Stations were independently tested to the same rigorous standards and stringent test parameters dictated by NFPA 1901 that our CFSII Series was; however in the testing of the Containment Fill Station 5.5 (CFS 5.5®) Series BAUER utilized 110 cu ft 5500 PSI SCBA’s in lieu of 88 cu ft 4500 PSI SCBA’s.
Formed plate steel and fewer weldments help maintain structural integrity while at the same time reducing size and weight. Our ergonomic “Easy Load” door design allows the operator to open and close the door with less than 18 lbs. of force without hyper-extended hand and wrist movements.

7000 PSIG 2 & 3 POSITION CONTAINMENT FILL STATIONS
The BAUER 5.5 Series of Containment SCBA and SCUBA Fill Stations were independently tested to the same rigorous standards and stringent test parameters indicated within the most recent edition of NFPA 1901.
BAUER offers two (2) CFS5.5 models to support your department’s growing demand for operator safety and increased SCBA cylinder pressures. Each BAUER CFS5.5 Containment SCBA/SCUBA Fill Stations were independently tested to the same rigorous standards and stringent test parameters dictated by the latest edition of NFPA 1901. For operations at 7000 PSIG all piping, fittings, pressure gauges, and valves are rated for operations at 7000 PSI while at the same time providing a structural safety factor of 4:1, as indicated within Chapter 24 of NFPA 1901. BAUER does not shortchange end-user safety by utilizing lesser pressure-rated components then reduce the structural safety factor.

Three position CFS equipped with inlet pressure gauge adjustable regulator, regulated pressure gauge, fill control valve and fill pressure gauges. Unit will consist of Dual function, top mount, four bank cascade panel. The dual function feature offers the ability to refill a storage bank, even with the bank valve closed, while filling SCBA’s from another bank. It also includes an air direction valve allowing the operator to select “fill from storage” or “fill from compressor”, additionally the system includes a regulated remote fill outlet.

Two position CFS equipped with inlet pressure gauge adjustable regulator, regulated pressure gauge, fill control valve and fill pressure gauges.
